Neculai C. Tutos, Ph.D
MS. in Structural Engineering, Ph.D. in Computer Science. Decades of experience all over the world in construction and in the development of advanced computer-aided engineering solutions.
After graduation, he started as a construction site engineer, later promoted as Chief Engineer Technologies for a Construction Company that employed 11,000 people.
As General Director of a national-level Computer Institute for the construction industry, he acted as a member of the National Department of Industrial Constructions Board.
An accepted political refugee in the USA, Dr. Tutos was hired as Manager of Projects for Construction Systems Associates in Atlanta, GA, in charge of 3D-based engineering applications for nuclear power plants. Later, as Vice-president for Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation, he managed the development of 3D modeling and simulation solutions for nuclear power plants and petrochemical facilities.
Dr. Tutos was Vice President with Dassault Systemes for ten years, the world leader in 3D-based modeling and simulation for the aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding, and construction industries. Dr. Tutos managed developments and worldwide implementation of computer-aided engineering for the construction and shipbuilding industries in this position.
Dr. Tutos did teach university-level structural engineering and computer-aided construction engineering.
